Monica Guggenheim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples and families. Monica received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Michigan and her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California.
Monica has worked at various community mental health agencies within the Los Angeles area including Didi Hirsch, Jewish Family Services, and The Help Group. During this time, she has received specialized training in abuse, trauma, parenting, couples and work/life balance.
Monica Guggenheim has lead various mommy and me groups at the Pump Station in Santa Monica. She loved providing a fun environment for mothers to gain useful information about being a new parent, emotional support to help adapt to the new parenting role, and a setting for building lasting relationships.
Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
